2018 CSCC & Manifest Solutions Student HACKATHON

The CSCC Computer Science Program and Manifest Solutions will be partnering to host a Student HACKATHON on Saturday, December 1, 2018 | 9:00AM - 4:00PM Check-in time 8:45am - 9:00am | FREE  breakfast & lunch - Space is LIMITED!  *this is a BYOD (bring your own device) event; If you choose to participate in the .NET stack you need a PC; for the ANGULAR or JAVA stacks either a PC or MAC will work. Contact the organizer to request a device if you do not have one. Participants will get a hands-on overview of Open Source technologies through three project tracks: Java, Angular, and .NET while having the guidance of industry practitioners. The following Computer Science majors would benefit from this event: - Software, Web, & Game Development *Other CS majors with programming experience may also participate Students will have the opportunity to: - Work within a robust live code base - Learn programming skills, version control, & how to write unit tests - Gain a competitive edge & build a resume with real project experience This is a FREE event to all attendees. Breakfast & lunch will be provided. SPACE IS LIMITED! **participants are asked to use their personal equipment for the event.     Symphony Innovate 2018 Hackathon: London, New York, Paris

    Hack the day away. Join talented developers for a day of innovation. Network with others in your industry to learn best practices for innovative workflow solutions. Symphony will be hosting three hackathons on Thursday, September 27, prior to its Innovate conference, in: London  New York Paris Teams of 1-5 individuals will to work together to create a bot, app, or integration that will supercharge business and improve workflows. Team members must register individually for the hackathon. Two winners will be selected per region. Teams will be judged based on innovation, workflow, and potential business impact. Winners will be presented with awards on stage at the end of the day. Award categories & prize details to follow.  All winning teams & their developments will also be featured at Innovate on October 3, 2018 at the Conrad Hotel in New York. To participate in any of the hackathons, individuals must: Register all individuals in your team by September 21, 2018. Attend or view the one-hour webinar prior to the event. (Webinar details to follow).  Day of: Provide your own hardware (laptops, chargers, etc.). Internet will be provided. Breakfast, lunch, and snacks will be provided.
