David Hartmann
David Hartmann founded The SilverLogic (tsl.io) as a software company in 2012 while studying mathematics and computer science at FAU. TSL's focus is on building applications and platforms for startups and enterprises. Mr. Hartmann’s personal vision is to build the right solutions for enterprises and help other startups flourish. TSL was the first step and has enabled David to build technology for numerous startups accompanying them on their journey. Based on the six years of experience working with startups, David decided to broaden the focus of TSL in 2015 to become a full-service product development company. David is also a Certified Scrum Master and he is currently part of FAU Tech Runway as a mentor of two startups.
In 2015, he became the CTO and Co-Founder of VuPulse, a revolutionary marketing solution that increases the effectiveness of digital advertising by creating Intelligent Hyperlinks that route each customer directly from the ad to the platform where the customer will most likely consume the product, no matter how many platforms.

Join us this year as we host our 4th Annual Hackathon @ Broward College!
All active students are encouraged to attend, regardless of major. Our goal is to create an environment that encourages idea sharing and provides a safe, respectful place for all participants to contribute.
"A team coding contest designed to challenge students to collaborate, build, and present in less than 24 hours."
Guidelines:
No code/design/etc. can be completed prior to the October 26th, 12:00pm start time.
Any language, framework, or library can be used to help you along the way.
Each team will have 5-6 participants: you can form your own team or be assigned to one on Friday.
Each team will have a mix of majors & skillsets, and each participant must contribute to the end project.

The City of Pompano Beach and Pompano Beach Community Redevelopment Agency will be hosting a Hackathon on April 14, 2018, in Pompano Beach to tackle one of several issues identified below. A panel of three (3) judges will determine the winning solutions, with the WINNING teams being awarded monetary prizes.

Topics will include: 1. Where is my Inspector? Inspection in Real Time / Description: Build a solution that lets residents know when city inspectors will arrive? Benefit: Bridging this gap will improve service and transparency to residents. 2. What do I need? Decision Tree Description: Help residents/applicants to better understand what they will need when submitting or applying for permits via a decision tree structure. Benefit: Providing transparency to applicants better prepares and improves the process for both parties. 3. Permit in Seconds? Improve Permit Turn around Times Description: Build a solution that identifies where gaps are in expediting permits, shows a timeline and improves the time it takes for each party to move the process along in a timely, efficient and accurate manner. Benefit: Fastest processing times 4. Vacant to Active? Identify vacant properties needing fencing. Description: Create a solution that lends visibility to identify all city, county, CRA, owned by investor property including owner, zoning and other property information. Benefit: Quickly identify and respond to vacant or abandoned property that can be used for re-development. 5. Don’t like any of the above, then pick our brains to build your own!!! Description: If you think of any ideas on your own, pick our brains and create your own solution. Use alternative suggestions or create your own ideas that you can create a solution for.
