ArcTech Community Hackathon
21 Nov - 10:00 AM
Kotzebue, United States
Hello,
Kotzebue Alaska will be hosting a Community event called ArcTech Hackathon, in collaboration with Community Church of Seattle and several organizations and businesses from Seattle, Anchorage, and Kotzebue.
Our goal is to inspire and encourage our youth with creative opportunities to help bridge future collaboration, partnerships, and mentorship opportunities using technology.
ArcTech Community Hackathon is to inspire young people to be science and technology leaders, by introducing and engaging them in exciting learning experiences on emerging technologies including coding, robotics, drones as well as 3D printing.
Hackathons provide excellent opportunities for students to learn to invent their own personally meaningful and relevant projects to work on, which can be developed as independent / creative projects or in collaborative teams.
Notes to remember: 1.Please bring a laptop if a student participant coding, and robotics hands-on workshop. 2.Please register all participants during registration process. 3.Please register as a volunteer if you are joining as a volunteer. 4.Age limit: We welcome k1 to k12 kids to join our hackaton (hands-on workshop) as well as any age group who like to volunteer. Also we are open to general public for exhibition visits. ** Please feel free to send any question to ray4park@gmail.com for ArcTeck Hackathon.
