          01 Nov - 11:00 AM
          Seattle, United States
To decompress after an awesome Seattle Startup Week and Halloween, we're going to have a hacker party, the first ever Super Happy Dev House event in Seattle: part hackathon, part party, part lightning talks, all awesome for creative and curious people and robots. Here's what you can expect Super Happy Dev House is an inclusive event intended for creative and curious people interested in technology. We're about knowledge sharing, technology exploration, and ad-hoc collaboration. Come to have fun, build things, learn things, and meet new people. It's called hacker culture, and we're here to encourage it. Hacking is not just limited to software projects: design, electronics, coffee, robots, artsy craftsy things, 3D printing, are all welcome. We'll have comfy couches, plenty of tables and desks, power strips, fast wifi, and some great people to hack with. Please bring a project to work on, or be prepared to help someone else with their project! Unlike normal hackathons, you are encouraged to work on weird ideas with no business plan and to continue work on existing projects to push them even further. We'll have a cool collection of hardware, including Raspberry Pi's, Arduino's, an oscilloscope, and a VR headset. Come meet the winning hackathon team from SeaVR 2015! And help them continue their project of creating an immersive storybook from Neal Stephenson's The Diamond Age. Super Happy Dev House is graciously hosted by GrokHome, Seattle's most interesting hacker houses. Here's a schedule of events The following is a schedule of awesome but optional events, which you can participate in or not as you choose. There will be open hacking going on at all times. There is a free BBQ lunch and beer from our friends at Drizly, on us! In the spirit of DIY hackerdom, once you are engrossed in hacking, we encourage you to band together and order food delivery. Bitesquad is a great local Seattle startup, and our favorites for brunch and dinner are Roxy's Diner (east coast diner and brunch), Blue Star (burgers and other americana), and Tigerly Ox (vietnamese food). 11:00 AM doors open, aeropress coffee, tour of Romero. Get in on a group brunch order!  11:00 AM - 1:00 PM Guided Mini-Hack #1 (project to be voted on) I am addicted to hackathons, and I've been developing a mob programming / teaching / group hacking format for social coding. Just come join the mob! 1:00 PM Lightning Talks, 5 minutes each. Be short and entertaining! Timo Way (@manbunnation).
