Design enthusiasts in New England. The Babson Graduate Design Thinking Club invites you to participate in the weekend-long Weekend Design Thinking Sprint 2020. This event will cover the whole spectrum of dsign from problem identification to prototyping. Come with a team of 3-5 people, or join one at the event. On friday, you'll be given a design prompt and you'll have from Friday to Sunday to think up and prototype an amazing solution to the prompt. Come and collaborate for recognition and cool prizes.

Universitygraduate and undergrad data scientists! The Babson Business Analytics Club invites you to sign up for the Babson Hackathon 2020. This is a data-focused competition that challenges you to solve real problems with real data and present your insights in front of experts from Wayfair and CVS Health.
Come with your team of up to four people -- or join one at the event.
Pitch your analysis to a panel of judges for the chance to be one of ten teams -- five undergraduate and five graduate -- that go forward to present their conclusions to senior judges from Wayfair and CVS Health. Compete for the chance to win $400 for the first-place teams (grads and undergrads) -- or $200 for the second place graduate team.

An Applied Social Justice Hackathon
Hosted by the Brandeis MakerLab partnered with the Brandeis International Business School, this year's 'Deis Hacks is a 24-hour design competition targeted at real world solutions.This social design challenge focused on disequity sources our hack-challenges from the 30 or so not for profits and social enterprise organizations local to Waltham. Instead of having a single hackathon challenge, this event's theme will fuse design thinking, digital fabrication & social impact to work on real world solutions for non-profit companies. Each hackathon team will chose a design challenge from Waltham's diverse non-profit community they find compelling to focus on.Doors open on Saturday February 8th at 8am. On Sunday February 9th at 1pm, a panel of judges including community activists, technology specialists and educators will judge the project pitches on how well they satisfy the needs of the non-profit, as well as on Complexity, Creativity, Originality, Adherence to the Challenge, and a Popular Vote.
