7th Annual Election Night Hackathon

Watch the regional and national election results arrive in real time while you hack the night away on current projects or propose new civic hacking projects with new friends! With 9 projectors, you will be able to watch the election night unfold in a way you’ve never imagined-enjoying the celebration of our 200 + year experiment in Democracy with the RIT community. Pizza and other consumables will be provided. Please RSVP so we know how much to buy. Who: Open to the public (not just RIT Students) just be sure to RSVP. When: Tuesday, November 7th. 5:00pm-11pm (or whenever results are decided). Where: RIT Center for Media, Arts, Games, Interaction, and Creativity (MAGIC). Building 87, Room 1600.     Calling all women! Women in Computing at Rochester Institute of Technology invite you to sign up to participate in WiCHacks, an all-women 24-hour hackathon. You'll get the chance to network and collaborate with like-minded techie women and to showcase your skills by building an awesome app, website, game, or other software widget. You don't have to be a whizz to participate. You can sign up to be in either the Newbie Track, or the Hacker Track.

This event is a hackathon where music researchers develop new techniques for analyzing, processing, and synthesizing audio and music signals. You'll be able to collaborate with like-minded researchers to innovate with new ideas and to present your project and compete for recognition and prizes.
