Rejectionathon is a one-day event that helps founders build a thicker skin and gain confidence in selling.  At Rejectionathon, you’ll be given a list of challenges that will put you just slightly out of your comfort zone.  You'll complete these with the morale support of team members who will cheer you on.   Similar to a hackathon, you'll spend the day solving fun, adrenaline-packed "hustle challenges" with a small team. Come participate in Mercedes-Benz Hack.SiliconValley Hackathon and collaborate to build prototype solutions that might transform the way we transport goods, equipment and people. You'll team with others to create vehicle ecosystem solutions based on cloud data and Internet of Things.

Big data hackers! Come and showcase your skills at the "What the Hackathon? 3 Build an Apache Apex (native Hadoop) Big Data App". You'll collaborate with other big data techies to build a native Hadoop big data Apache Apex streaming app. You can work on your own or in teams of up to three people. Compete for prizes and build an awesome streaming app!

5th-8th grade students in San Jose. Ask your parents to sign you up for the Scratch Hackathon for 5th-8th Graders, a premiere hackathon for elementary and middle school kids. You'll meet with kids like you and work in teams to compete for prizes. You don't have to be an expert Scratch coder! There are prizes for beginners and for advanced students at both the elementary and middle school levels.

Digital game enthusiasts! Think you can design an awesome game that has social relevance? Come along and showcase your techie and design skills at the 2016 Startup Hackathon Monterey Bay. This three-day technology development competition features a "Game-a-thon", where you will collaborate to create Digital Games that solve community problems. You'll work in a team to design and create a game that addresses one of the community problems that will be presented to you.

Enter the Small Business Tech Hackathon. The hack is open to everyone who wants to design, code, and build new and innovative apps that target small businesses or non-profits. Your innovative solutions will help entrepreneurs and visionaries easily manage the administrative tasks of keeping their businesses successful and their non-profits healthy. Build a brand new solution that addresses one of these challenges: Category 1: Create an app that saves a small business time or money by solving a unique SMB problem. Category 2: Create an app that saves a non-profit time or money by solving a unique non-profit problem.

All are welcome! Women and men—in which case you should bring along a woman coder/designer/student! Women Who Code - Silicon Valley invite you to "Hack for a Safe Campus". Come and collaborate on a project that involves writing code! Projects are not limited to web, mobile, or desktop applications. Any stack or framework is allowed. Your project may include a hardware component, but code must be an integral part of every project.

The PINKconcussions Symposium on Female Concussion/TBI and Hormones is co-hosted by the Veterans Adminstration and Defense and Veterans Brain Injury Center (DVBIC) with the purpose to present current research and partner industry, academia and adovcates to set an agenda for future research milestones through a hackathon. There will be a civilian and a military keynote.
