The S.C. Sea Grant Consortium is pleased to host the Chucktown Floods Hack in conjunction with BoomTown and College of Charleston Computer Science Department. The S.C. Sea Grant Consortium, on behalf of the Charleston Resilience Network (CRN), was awarded a contract for this project through the U.S. Department of Homeland Security's National Infrastructure Protection Plan Security and Resilience Challenge.  Learn more details about the hackathon http://www.scseagrant.org/hack/   Participation agreement will be sent to the participants closer to the event date. FAQs What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event? Parking, free of charge, is available at BoomTown, the event location. What can I bring into the event? You may bring your computer, mouse, power cord, toggles/adapters, charger or spare batteries, earphones/headphones, backpack, favorite snacks and energy drinks, notebook/scratch paper, and pens/pencils, along with anything to make yourself comfortable.     Calling undergraduate students interested in programming and computing!   Join us for our annual Bootcamp and Hackathon at Claflin University. This 2- day event will include a workshop day and hacking challenge day. Day one (4.20.18 from 9am to 4pm); students will learn linux fundamentals, on-site mentorship advice & resume review with Microsoft Strategic Sourcing Manager Christopher Meullion, APIs, Python basics and more! Day two (4.21.18 from 11am to 3pm); challenge yourself by developing a web program!
