A workshop hackathon in which you will work hard to get from 0 to MVP in just 2 days. You will earn skills such as rapid prototyping, applying learned SLP skills in real life, and working in a team. Groups will be divided into 4 teams - Strategy, Developers, Marketing, and UX/UI Designers - and will work towards getting a product out there as quickly as possible!

Join Dev Bootcamp for its January Civic-Themed Hackathon! You don't have to be an expert to join this hackathon. In fact, there will be beginner coding workshops alongside the event and teams and project ideas will be formed based on skill level and interest!

The Herothon hackathon invited anyone between 18 and 30 to come and build on products that will have the potential to solve some of the world’s problems. The themes include Education, Transportation, Government, Energy, Health, and Currency. Your challenge is to develop something that is able to launch an MVP within 60 to 90 days!

A Hackathon Matching Silicon Valley’s Tech Talent With America’s Biggest Sporting Event. Girls in Tech's weekend-long Hackathon is callin out iOS and Android app Developers, Designers and Product Developers to team up and have the opportunity to prototype and develop apps that visitors new to San Francisco or staying during the Super Football Week can use. Think of real-time geo-location app for finding fellow football friends, Restaurant finders, reservation app for shows, concerts, boat rides, or Traffic Alert apps. Developers should be familiar with third-party APIs, in particular they should be able to integrate a REST API in a mobile application (e.g. Android), call the API endpoints, parse the response, and display the data in a meaningful way. UI/UX Designers can team up with developers and create assets/graphics or flows in order to make a great app that is fun and easy to use.

Rep. Swalwell, in coordination with knodemy, a mentor-based coding academy, is hosting the Congressional App Challenge for students of all coding experience levels to join and learn about Java programming and other skills for developing apps in the Android environment. A winning app will be selected at the CA-15 Hackathon and displayed in the United States Capitol and on the U.S House of Representatives website and the individual or group winner will be offered a summer internship by knodemy.
