List of hackathons in West Lafayette, United States in 2016

This is a hackathon on Internet of Things (IoT) to collect and retrieve data from Internet-connected sensors. Participants interested in coding mobile apps or hacking hardware solutions will get to widen their community and will be challenged to build Smart City applications using local government data, APIs and any hardware of their choosing. Experts will be onsite to assist with your build and answer any questions. So join this hack hardware, build apps/mobile apps, get fed, compete for prizes across different categories and most importantly meet new people and scout for teammates to work on new or current projects!

The agricultural supplier community has been very excited to participate in this event to bring along a new generation of young people interested in the future of our farming heritage. These leaders in agriculture include Monsanto, John Deere, AGCO, Purdue School of Agriculture, Purdue Polytechnic Institute, Purdue Foundry, Barnes and Thornburg, USDA NIFA, Coalliance, BATS, Precision Planting and airBridge.
