      Join us for IAC Eitanim NY, NJ and PA's Mini Hackathon An amazing kick-off for students (7th - 12th grade) to experience the IAC Eitanim program, the Hackathon is a dynamic method to get young minds thinking creatively through teamwork. This will be a unique opportunity to work side by side with successful Israeli Mentors and Professionals! Together, we will be challenged by the mentors to solve a real-life problem. We will then split into teams and create a pitch deck for a startup idea to provide a solution to the problem. The judges will then compare between the startups to determine a winning team. Family and friends are most welcome to join at 1:15pm to watch the presentations on stage. Light Breakfast, lunch, snacks and beverages will be provided throughout the day. Students are required to bring a laptop. Looking forward to seeing you! IAC Eitanim NY

          Looking to practice your UX skills, learn, meet cool people and help improve a real startup product? Welcome to UX Mini Hackathon Series. What is the UX Mini Hackathon? Our UX mini hackathons are short one-evening events featuring real organizations that provide problems that can be addressed with design and technology. Attendees collaborate in teams, brainstorm and prototype their solutions and then present back to the organizations. Teams are provided with feedback from clients / mentors and can win in various categories (and get prizes, if available). Who should attend? Those who want to improve their UX/prototyping skills by helping a real organization: UX and UI designers, product designers, researchers, product people, developers, aspiring UX professionals and other tech folks who want to meet new people, learn and advance their UX skills in a team environment. What will the format be like? - Organizations are invited and requested to provide a problem that they would like help with where design and technology can help (design brief will be shared with attendees) - During the UX hackathon, the teams will be able to put together a basic idea and prototype their solution - teams will have the opportunity to present their solution to the client / UX mentors and get feedback - The winning team and others interested might have an opportunity to continue working on the project if they and the organization are interested **Important - what you will need: - Laptops will be quite useful ;) - You need to be able to use design / prototyping tools (any tools of your choice will work: i.e. Sketch, Adobe Suite (design), InVision, Marvel or Principle for Mac, Pixate, Axure, or at least POP, Balsamiq or Keynote) Takeaways - Practice your UX skills in a fast-paced team environment - Make connections with other cool UX people and company leadership - Gain experience and help improve a real startup product - Enhance your presentation, team collaboration and client interaction skills

                Reboot the Earth is a global coding event that brings together young techies and people with a shared interest in combating climate change under the auspices of the United Nations to create technology solutions that address the current climate crisis. Through a series of hackathons in four continents, young people will be presented with the opportunity to use open data and apply technology to solve the climate crisis, depending on the community needs in a given location.This hackathon will take place in 4 lab locations (Egypt, Malaysia, Espoo and Guruguan) and New York. Sponsored by SAP and Deloitte, the Reboot the Earth will bring the winners to NY to be awarded by the SG at the Climate Summit in Autumn. The winners’ technology solutions will be incubated in relevant UNTIL Lab through the support of the local and global UNTIL Technology Innovation eco-system in the coming months.
