The College App Hackathon is a two-part event intended to help students maximize the funding they receive to attend college and polish their applications to be more competitive for admission.
PART I: Reduce the Cost of College through Early Action!
College Fair offering intimate access to colleges, universities, and programs starting at 10a – 3p
Several Colleges will offer: On-site Admissions, Scholarship Decisions, and Fee Waivers
Meet with Colleges and Universities that offer up to Full-Ride Scholarships
Learning about opportunities to reduce the cost of college or technical training
Event is FREE but Time Entry Pass is required. One pass per high school senior - family welcome to attend.
Bring copies of your transcript and SAT/ACT Scores:
Go home admitted to college!
Several colleges are also making Financial Aid Awards on-site!!

Paula Dofat, College Counseling Consultant and CEO, College Info Guru LLC:Paula Dofat is an award winning Director of College Counseling and featured subject of the Fox Searchlight film STEP, which documents her college guidance of the Baltimore Leadership School for Young Women’s first graduating class. Paula has over 17 years experience in college counseling, and touts an impressive 100% college acceptance rate with 10% of her 2017 graduating seniors receiving full-ride scholarships.
is a Baltimore-based 501(c)(3) not-for-profit that provides scholarships and prepares high school students for college and their future careers. To date, I AM O’Kah! has distributed over $15,000 in scholarships to students attending University of Maryland, University of Baltimore, Towson University, Hampton University, Morgan State University, St. Mary’s College of Maryland and University of Miami. Our High School Cohort program embodies Kahdine’s vision of scholarship coupled with mentoring and is providing college and career prep to students from four Baltimore City high schools.
