List of hackathons in Lusaka, Zambia in 2016

Web designers, developers, interested citizens in and around Lusaka! The Agora Code Community invites you to come and participate in a hackathon to build a website for the community. It doesn't matter if you're an expert, or a beginner wanting to get into the world of web development, software development and design. Come and help build Agora's online presence and be a part of the community that shares your passion!

Hackers interested in the Zambian agriculture sector? Come and participate at AgriHack 2016! During the 1.5 day hackathon, teams will prototype youth ICT innovations and entrepreneurship in agriculture, in order to help transform the sector and develop opportunities for Zambia's young people! Experts acting as mentors will provide advice to teams. Winners will benefit from BongoHive's startup programmes or other opportunities to improve and promote their prototypes.

Interested in FinTech? Developers, designers and ideas people! Participate in the FinTech Lusaka hackathon. Bring your best ideas to develop innovative financial solutions and apply new technologies to solving problems. Example apps include innovations in risk management, trading, investing, personal finance, big data, retail banking, regulatory compliance, mobile payments and social enterprise.
