At the completion of the hackathon, you’ll have the chance to pitch your idea to a panel and win a funded trip (valued at $7,500) to Silicon Valley, thanks to The Hacker Exchange.
A hackathon is a multi-day event where a group of enthusiastic people come together to rapidly test and iterate their ideas for new products or services. Don’t worry, our hackathon can be as fluid and free as you like – so you can move in and out over the weekend as suits you and your team.
Our aim is to encourage regional entrepreneurs to bring your business ideas to life by workshopping your assumptions about the market, competitive landscape, feasibility and viability.
The event is supported by Moonshot Works experts, with onsite expertise from Alan Dee and Grant Downie, who will zoom in. Plus expert onsite advice from Jeanette Cheah, Chief Strategy Officer and Co-Founder of The Hacker Exchange and Miguel Wood, Co-founder & CEO of Euler’s Bridge.
