Hackagong is a 24-hour hackathon that celebrates teamwork, creativity and the collaboration of industries. Attendees can expect to see an impressive display of technical skill spanning a multitude of disciplines and fields of expertise, including Software, Hardware, Business, Design, Game Design, 3D Printing, Artificial Intelligence, Virtual/Augmented Reality, and many more.

Viz for Social Good with Sunny Street - Use your Data skills for a cause

Viz for Social Goodhelps mission-driven organisations to promote social good and understand their own data through beautiful and informative data visualisation. Sunny Streetis changing the world by providing heartfelt healthcare to our community’s most vulnerable people. We need to be able to clearly articulate our social impact to our stakeholders, collaborators and potential sponsors and funding sources. We know that our outreach clinics benefit the lives of our patients, volunteers and the broader community through our authentic conversation-based model of care. Sunny Street needs powerful visual data representation that captures the multi-faceted benefits of these therapeutic relationships from the dedicated time and generosity of our volunteers.

In this workshop you will learn the technique of creative problem solving. You will learn how to further understand your product or service user and redefine your problems in order to identify alternative strategies for all areas of your business. About the program The Launch Plus Incubator Program is a series of workshops hosted by ACU Collaborate Plus, Australian Catholic University’s entrepreneurship and innovation hub. The series is designed to take you on a journey through the key stages of starting a business, or simply further your entrepreneurial skills to take advantage of future opportunities. If you're passionate about artificial intelligence (AI) and data science, then Macquarie University, IBM, and ITIC Technology invite you to participate in the two-day Hackathon 2020. During Hackathon 2020: Day 1, you learned about AI-enabled Education and the specific challenges for Day 2 and you also heard from experts on software-defined storage, AI and machine learning, and cybersecurity. On this second day of Hackathon 2020, the competition takes place. With your team of 2-5 people, you will be challenged to design and build a novel AI application that helps personalize learning for students and augments teaching with personal conversational education assistants. Design and build your prototype and present it to an expert panel for the chance to win your share of a prize pool of over $6000 eftpos gift cards and ITIC training vouchers.
