Come join us for the 6th annual hackathon! You will spend the day coding, learning and using technology to build apps with fellow passionate students. This year we are also excited to announce a new machine learning track for our advanced coders. What: Code441 is a nonprofit started on the island working to expose young people to the technology sector. Our mission is to educate, empower and equip young people of Bermuda by encouraging them to embrace the current tech marketplace as builders and content creators. Who: Students aged 12-17 can attend, even if you haven't written a single line of code before! When: Friday December 20, 2019 at 9AM Where: AXA XL Group, 1 Bermudiana Road, Hamilton Why: You will gain technical skills in coding and new friends. There will be free food and prizes!     Hey young hackers, come join us for a special mini hackathon! What: Students will be divided into teams. Then you’ll brainstorm, design, prototype and code an app on one of two themes: transportation or school. Pick any idea that addresses a problem in either of these two spaces. If you’re feeling especially ambitious, combine them! Who: 25 students between the ages of 12 and 17, preferably with coding experience. When: Saturday, May 25 from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Where: Hamilton HQ (That’s Wellesley House North, 1st Floor, 90 Pitts Bay Road, Pembroke).
