Smart India Hackathon 2019

An 12 Hour Entrepreneurial Hackathon oragnised by JBIET – Hyderabad , with an aim to catalyze the encounter of vivid talents & stir up the venturesomeness in the minds of the aspiring enthusiasts to promote the culture of Technical & Non – Technical Startups. How it works : Introducations MatchMaking ( Team Making ) Decision Thinking Mentoring Pitching Results Detailed Plan of INNOVA-Thon 1.0 : Time given for participants : 12 Hours All participants would be making unique idea presentations in this span. They should be talking to the mentors about their idea and should ask for funding from the mentors. All the mentors should be showing flaws in the ideas of the participants which inturn have to be corrected and the doubts clarified by the team participants. Teams will be given specific amount of time to pitch their ideas and give their presentations which will be assessed by the mentoring panel for the assignment of the virtual money. Atlast , the team which has acquired the highest amount of virtual money from the mentors is the winner of the INNOVA-Thon 1.0 Note: All the mentors would be given the criteria of judging the idea on USP(Unique Selling Point) and a good presentation. We would be giving a demo before competition starts on how to make a business presentation of a new Idea. Use IoT meters for automatic data capture in combination with AI & ML models to detect meter tampering and data fraud. Your solution maybe chosen for real-life implementation in the state of Maharashtra and if successful maybe implemented globally in multiple countries.    ORGANISERS This Hackathon is organised by the Maharashtra Water Multi-Stakeholder Platform, which is a public-private-civil society partnership launched through a Government of Maharashtra resolution in May 2017. As a part of this activity, 2030 Water Resources Group (hosted at The World Bank) and the Maharashtra Water Resources Regulatory Authority (MWRRA) are managing a workstream titled “Wastewater Reuse and Management”. 2030 WRG secretariat, along with MWRRA and a key private sector partner - the Bombay Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) are managing this Hackathon.   Prizes   In addition, each winning team receives $1000 credits from DigitalOcean. Cyber Wellness Centre: Cybertrix, CT University is going to organize one of the major events Hackathon fest ‘Syberthon’ which is a 36-hour, non-stop Hackathon, sponsored by CT University, is dedicated to open source software in the field of cyber security. The goal is to gather various developer groups to collaborate on challenging programming problems in the field of cybersecurity: from information sharing, network/system forensic, AI challenges, network/computer exploitation or defense. The objective of the Syberthon is also to improve the interoperability and exchange between the different security tools. The spirit of the competition is like being a part of marathons. Some people go with the perspective of competition but most people take part to better themselves and have fun. Whatever the reason is they're at a hackathon, we want to make sure you're maintaining the hacker spirit by collaborating with other teams, helping beginners, and having fun.
