TECHNOLOGY TRACK - Oh! My Jeju Global Hackathon Sharing SessionThe Coding Shophouse was in collaboration with J-space for a Global Hackathon in Jeju. 10 participants were selected after a pitching session organized in Penang. The participants were at Jeju for 3 days and 2 nights competing with a different representative from various countries such as Thailand, Vietnam, Hong Kong and of course Korea themselves. All 10 participants representing The Coding Shophouse, Penang went in separate groups together with other countries and all of them came back with glory. The awards won by Penang team were "Grand Prize Award", "Most Outstanding Award", "Most Popular Award", "Excellence Award", "J-CCEI x NATEC" and "J-CCEI x The Coding Shophouse".  They will be sharing their experience at the Global Hackathon in Jeju.  AGENDA7:00pm - 7:30pm Registration7:30pm - 8:00pm 123 Ship It! by Howie Chang 8:00pm - 8:30pm Oh!     A truly unique hackathon to make smarter consumer products that can be reused, or that can reduce waste being thrown into landfills. The Sea Makerthon Malaysia focuses on creating an idea that furthers the circular economy; turning things that were supposed to be one use and done, or that have become obsolete and giving them a second life. Anyone over the age of 16 can join, and their will be supplies with which participants can build, but it is recommended that you bring your own broken or old project pieces as well.

      The rise of different mobile devices worldwide has made the jobs mobile developers much more difficult. They now have to deal with multiple devices and write codes for both Android and IOS. Hybrid mobile application framework such as Ionic is designed to address this issue. Ionic is a mobile apps prototyping tool that allows developers to focus on the design and fast prototyping without worrying on the cross platform compatibility. This course will provide you with all the knowledge necessary to develop a mobile apps, using a hands-on "by example" approach. You will learn how to create a complete mobile app, building up from many small examples demonstrating Ionic features and development practices. You will learn about cross platform mobile apps, Ionic, setting up Ionic development from scratch, screen navigation, CRUD in mobile apps using free online storage (Parse.com), building a TODO list from scratch, and deploying mobile apps to mobile phones.
