    The Health Hackathon has returned. This time we will be focusing on a pertinent aspect of healthcare in many populations, Ageing. As the aged population increases, it has become increasingly apparent that more solutions are needed to tackle common issues associated with the elderly. We will soon be identifying some core challenges in the local scenario regarding the care of the elderly, where technology and innovative solutions can improve and revolutionise the world for our aged population.  With that spirit, Hacking Health Kuala Lumpur is conducting a hackathon - Health Hackathon 2 : Re Imagining Ageing and invites all developers and hackathon enthusiasts to participate in an interesting and engaging hackathon. Visit our website for more details. Click here   FAQs   Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event? There is no minimum age. However, if you are below 18, you have to get a written consent from your parents or guardian.    How can I contact the organizer with any questions? You can email us at kualalumpur@hacking-health.org   What's the refund policy? There will be no refunds.    Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable? Your ticket is transferable if you cannot attend the event yourself. However, you must notify the Hacking Health crew so that we can then record that. This is to avoid disqualification if the names during the hackathon do not tally with the payer.    Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends? As above, please approach the Hacking Health crew to ensure that we know a switch has been made.

          A.I.CKATHON 2018: AI Hackathon Southeast Asia

          The A.I.CKATHON is a first-of-its-kind AI Hackathon in Malaysia, with the ambition to reap and share the power of AI technologies with the decentralized student community. Get involved and you will be joining hackers, product developers, marketers, and business innovators in creating a new wave of AI product that could the way humans live our life In 48 hours, participants will discover, discuss and solve the problems in the modern industry by using AI technology. What's this Hackathon about? A mysterious API that will be introduced on the event day; however participants are not limited to use the API that we will provide. From Friday evening, participants will discuss, and work on building a functional prototype to be presented to the judging panels on Sunday noon.  ** We will update this description for more information, please check this event page from time to time. Is the idea feasible / if pursued could it actually work in the real world? What impact can it have on the world as a whole? Does it seem remarkable that someone could achieve this hack in just two days? We provide some beanies; however, for your comfort, we encourage to bring your own sleeping bag. Rules Participant must be a real student with valid student ID. Include undergraduate and postgraduate students. Teams of size 3 to 5 participants are allowed. All team members must agree to the participation agreement to compete. You may not begin your project until the competition officially begins. Please don’t come in and build on top of previous projects if you want to win. No code is written before the hacking starts! Teams have full ownership of everything they build during the event and are free to do whatever with it as they wish whether they win or not. Winning teams will be subject to a code-review at some point following the event or immediately before the competition ends.
