Sign up for OpenStack 101 and take your first guided steps in OpenStack. In addition to learning the basics of the OpenStack Cloud Computing, you'll learn how to work with core technologies such as Horizon, Neutron, Glance and Nova to create and access your own instances. Hack Chiapas 2016 is inviting all students who have ideas to improve the technology of the city of Chiapas and develop their ideas in a 24 hours marathon. The objective for this event are: Hack Chiapas seeks to provide interesting and positive change for the city through creative and innovative projects and ideas. Participants should cover any of these areas: health, public services, farming, and/or tourism. There are no restrictions on languages, frameworks or methodologies and anyone can participate even if they do not know how to code. This event is open to students from areas of systems development, electronics, mechatronics, graphic design, management, programmers or any other related to the idea of ​​creating something for the city's profile.

This is AngelHack’s 9th Global Hackathon Series. The Challenge is Simple. AngelHack’s nonprofit arm, Code For A Cause, is challenging superhero coders to build a technology that will have a positive impact on the world, people, or environment. No matter your age or skill level, just come and create projects that are innovative, and have the potential to improve or influence people’s lives. Build a hack that people can use, enjoy, and potentially scale and get the chance to fly to Silicon Valley for the Annual Global Demo Day and participate in a week of extensive pitch training!

At this Hackathon developers will have approximately 24 hours to turn their ideas into applications using their own programming skills and design, working in teams of 4 people, with the support of experts. Teams will be free to use any programming language in order to develop applications that improve the community. What you will need is your laptop with charger, cell phone charger, gadgets, blanket or sleeping bag for the night, personal cleaning articles. The event is completely free of charge and anyone who has the skills to develop software (students, programmers, freelancers and anyone who knows develop code) is welcome!
