Accountability Hack 2017

Na de Tweede Kamerverkiezingen, het aantreden van een nieuwe Kamer, de huidige formatiebesprekingen en Verantwoordingsdag in mei staat deze editie van Accountability Hack in het teken van innovatieve vormen van verantwoording. Hoe kan open data ingezet worden om effectiviteit en doelmatigheid van beleid en uitgaven te controleren?
We dagen jullie uit om met open data toepassingen te maken die op een duurzame manier bijdragen aan dat doel! Er zijn verschillende challenges die uitgeschreven worden door de organiserende organisaties. Je kan ervoor kiezen een van deze challenges uit te werken of je eigen ideeën uit te voeren tijdens de hackathon.
Er is in totaal €7.500 aan prijzengeld beschikbaar. Alle informatie is te vinden op AccountabilityHack.nl.
Over Accountability Hack
Accountability Hack is een initiatief van de Algemene Rekenkamer en de Tweede Kamer samen met het CBS en de ministeries van Binnenlandse Zaken, Buitenlandse Zaken, Financiën en Infrastructuur en Milieu. De hackathon wordt georganiseerd in samenwerking met Open State Foundation.
Accountability Hack is voor developers, programmeurs, designers en datajournalisten. Voor beleidsmakers, datahouders, financial trainees, bestuurders en Kamerleden is er een apart side-event. Je dient je voor het respectievelijke onderdeel aan te melden, maar uiteraard kun je als developer ook naar het side-event gaan en kunnen niet-developers bij de hackathon kijken.
Belangrijk: Omdat de Accountability Hack in de Tweede Kamer georganiseerd wordt, dien je je vooraf via dit formulier aan te melden. Daarnaast ben je verplicht legitimatie (ID-kaart, Paspoort of Nederlands rijbewijs) mee te nemen om je te kunnen legitimeren.

You'll be challenged to come up with novel solutions that can predict when and where overcrowding will occur and suggest ways to ease or counter it. You'll be expected to design and build a model and data analysis engine that can deal dynamically with overcrowdedness and access the various open data sets, finding and leveraging patterns that you find between the sources.

Workshops
Thank you for your registration! We kindly invite you to register for the workshop sessions. On June 1st we have two workshop sessions, you can either participate in one of the workshops or attend the parallel lectures. On June 2nd additional to the workshops and parallel lectures, we also offer the Healthy Ageing Hackathon. During this Hackathon you will get the opportunity to design Blue Zones in Groningen. The Hackathon is guided by professionals from the HANNN (Healthy Ageing Network Northern Netherlands) and the Municipality of Groningen. To give you plenty of time to use your creativity to develop Blue Zones, the Hackathon starts in the first workshop session and will continue during the second session (both on June 2nd).

As a reward for your registration we give you the opportunity to win a FitBit. We still have tickets available for the conference and we therefore challenge you to convince as many colleagues to also sign up for the conference. Dear GSMS students,
We are pleased to announce that the Early Bird registration for our 3rd GSMS PhD Development Conference on 1 & 2 June has opened!!!
Are you wondering how you can guarantee yourself a great future career? Knowing what the future brings is half a success! During our conference we will discuss the upcoming developments in the healthcare sector, including factors that can revolutionize healthcare as we know it. Ronald van den Hoff will take us to the Society 3.0 and Lucien Hordijk (de Correspondent) will give us insider information on the role of industry in healthcare.
These inspiring keynote lectures are complemented by a wide variety of workshops; from “how to write an amazing paper” to “how to deal with stress”. Or maybe you have the greatest idea about how to create Blue Zones in Groningen? Show the invited companies what you’ve got during the Healthy Aging Hackathon on Friday June 2. There is also a possibility to meet with companies during our “Meet (Y)our future” lunch break on Friday. We have something for everyone!
PhD students who actively participate in the conference will be rewarded with 1 ECTS.

Werk in 2030

‘’Werk in 2030’’ vindt plaats in Hotel Bilderberg Résidence Groot Heideborgh. Op deze prachtige locatie gaan we op interactieve wijze inspelen op veranderingen op de arbeidsmarkt. Denk hierbij aan de verschuiving van de pensioenleeftijd en het verdwijnen van banen door bijvoorbeeld robotisering. Is jouw organisatie klaar voor 2030?
Er is plaats voor 350 bezoekers die op deze dag gezamelijk, in de vorm van een hackathon, aan het werk gaan. Op basis van de uitkomsten zullen fractievoorzitters uit de 2e kamer hierover in debat gaan. Aukje Nauta rapporteert alle bevindingen en brengt dit in verslag, waardoor je direct handvatten hebt om verder te werken aan de duurzame inzetbaarheid.

Route
U kunt uw auto gratis parkeren. Indien u met het openbaar vervoer komt, dan kunt u het beste reizen naar station Putten en daar overstappen op de bus 107 richting Ede-Wageningen. U dient dan uit te stappen bij de bushalte Hooiweg, garderen. Vanaf hier is het nog slechts 5 à 8 minuten lopen.

FIWARE promotes a global and open-source platform that standardizes the gathering, access and management of context information generated by IoT devices to boost the development of smarter & scalable solutions in multiple verticals.
FIWARE provides not only the technology to develop smart solutions. It also empowers innovation through different initiatives. These initiatives help to create a community of people with different capabilities, but a common purpose.
The 2nd FIWARE Summit will gather current members of the FIWARE Open Source Community, FIWARE Foundation Members (organisations & individuals), FIWARE WW Ecosystem, Policy makers on European and member-state level, decision makers and users from industry, IoT device manufacturers, Solution providers (SMEs), Cities, Developers, High level representatives from cities and regions to gain/share first-hand insights on the FIWARE ecosystem.
Draft Agenda:
The event will be organized in several tracks that will run in parallel during the three days:
• FIWARE Community working groups, where members of the open community will meet to coordinate different lines of work within the ecosystem, focusing on the activities of:
· The FIWARE Technical Steering Committee
· The FIWARE Ecosystem Support Committees: FIWARE Mundus, FIWARE Accelerator and FIWARE iHub
• Developer's Primer, targeting at developers from inside and outside of the FIWARE Community:
During the full first day, with additional sessions on the second and third days, it will comprise specialized technical sessions and hands-on experience for developers, working with and interested on the FIWARE technology.
• Parallel Tracks related to Agrifood, Industry and Smart Cities to unfold and share a more accurate vision around the benefits of using FIWARE to create and develop a business project for each one of these verticals.
• A Conference track, targeted to business developers, decision and policy makers, startup/SME CEOs, cities’ representatives, researchers, public authorities, non-profit organizations and to the whole FIWARE Community.
Joint Workshop with TM Forum
The API economy is an enabler for turning a business or organization into a platform.
‘Frontrunner Smart Cities in the API economy’ sessions will help to Identify challenges for urban communities and discover the level of maturity of each city, studying the roadmap and challenges ahead, focusing on real-time open data and economy of data. It will provide a path to start FIWARE and TM Forum pilots, being the leading adopters of the a reference architecture based on open standards.
Hackacity at the FIWARE Summit Utrecht: hack your way to success!
Hackacity is a competition which aims at testing and using cities’ Open Data on a non-stop hackathon. In our 2nd Summit, the participants will be encouraged to create applications, aiming to ease real citizens’ challenges. Admission is open to coders, hackers, designers, business developers and anyone willing to apply their skills on creating a winning solution.
This is an opportunity to connect Big Data, smart brains and creativity, meeting new people, having a nice time solving problems together, building big, smart and creative solutions!
