What is CodeJam 2016
Technothon presents to you, CodeJam 2016. Technothon brings future developers, designers, creators, and mentors together and conducts awesome activities. This year we'll offer you an amazing opportunity to showcase your skills, meet like-minded individuals, and most of all have fun developing your program. CodeJam 2016 is a friendly competition so any levels or knowledge in programming is encouraged to JOIN!
THEME: Solve a CvSUeño Problem
Challenge:
Teams must come up with an Application, System, or Game that could possibly solve or expose a common problem of a CvSUeño.
Prizes:
1st Place - 1,500.00 pesos cash, 1st placer certificate, and complete freebies package
2nd Place - 900.00 pesos cash, second placer certificate
3rd Place - 600.00 pesos cash, third placer certificate
NOTE: Cash prizes will be subjected to an INCREASE if we have more than 10 participating teams. Invite other teams so we'll have a greater cash pool prize!
Registration:
The CodeJam is open for all bon a fide or enrolled students of CvSU. Any year level is welcome to participate.
Form a Team with minimum of 2 members and a maximum of 3 members. Come up with an awesome team name!
Teams must be registered until October 10, 2016. And shall settle 150Php registration fee until October 11, 2016 - 9:00AM only.

Rules and Conditions:
Event organizers have the right to modify, alter, or cancel the details, venue, rules, and the event itself.
This is a Bring Your Own Device (BYOD), bring your laptops, extensions, pocket wifi, and other goodies you will use when coding/designing.
Internet connection might not be provided, everyone is encouraged to bring their own pocke wifi if they need an internet connection along the development process.
In case of cancellation of the event, do not worry, fees will be refundable.
The event organizers have the right to disqualify teams for misbehaving, and any form of illegal action.
We will not be liable for any damage or loss of your equipment, laptop, or any gadgets and valuables.
Since this will be a two day event, particpants can comeback by 10AM on the second day of the event.
The judges can extend the time of demo or presentation if they requested to.
Use of templates, pre-built codes will be allowed. But 75% of your system/program should be made during the event.
All teams retain full ownership of what they have created during the hackathon. Your code and designs will remain yours.
