Full-day Pitching MasterClass: How To Raise Venture Capital (EXCLUSIVE)
    08 Dec - 09:30 AM
    Singapore, Singapore
Are you ready to raise funds for your startup/business? Do you have what it takes to impress the investors to invest into your business? 90% of investment pitches fail!! Pitching - better known as everyone's biggest fear. Whether you're a reserved introvert or shy extrovert, it's always a challenge to stand in front of a crowd and speak to them about your ideas. It's time to confront your fears and make it work with you. Discover the proven techniques to remaster your public speaking skills. Leave this hands-on, practical workshop with the tools you need to deliver your message effectively and inspire your audience/investor to take action. A pitch should tell the story of you and/or your business. A bad pitch can cost you more than just a second meeting. Raising capital from investors can be very challenging and time-consuming. Therefore, it is always crucial that we convey in a manner that shows our business as a compelling and interesting story. At the end of the workshop, learners should be able to: 1) Identify what the investors are looking for; 2) Script an Elevator Pitch to create an initial impression; 3) Build a Pitch Deck as an exciting and compelling story to showcase to investors; 4) Practise using body language and voice variation to deliver your story; and 5) Create an effective “call-to-action” to entice the investors. NOTE: This exclusive workshop is for startups/businesses which are ready to pitch to investors. The objective of the workshop is to groom and prepare startups/businesses to pitch effectively to investors.  This limited-run, highly experiential MasterClass is suitable for any startup and entrepreneur who is planning to pitch for funding (be it government grant or angel investments). The workshop is intentionally designed to be delivered in small group (max: 15 pax) to foster maximum interaction, allowing learners to work on their individual pitches and get constructive feedback from an entrepreneur/investor himself as well as from the rest of the learners, therefore it has limited seats.  To avoid disappointment, please register early. *SPECIAL* To help startups to define their business models, pitch decks and pitching, learners of this workshop will get 2 complimentary hour of individualised coaching (Valued at $300) from the trainer. The coaching is valid for 3 months from end of workshop. Learners of this workshop will be guaranteed a spot to pitch to early-stage investors for seed funding. What people say "After attending the workshop and applying the learning, I'd successfully raised $100,000 the next day for my business. Thank you for the lessons taught.” ~ Lee Van Voon, Founder of Gills & Fins Pte Ltd "The content of the workshop is really helpful and well-organised. The highlight is that the trainer provides real world examples combined with his own experience and expertise.” ~ Jenna, Temasek Polytechnic Guest Trainer: Steven Ong Steven is the Principal Trainer and MD of ForwardLeap Training Lab as well as the MD of Co-V, a coworking space.
