List of hackathons in Switzerland in 2016

This is a hackathon organized around the theme of mobility. This event is open to all computer scientists, designers and professionals to develop innovative IT solutions.

THEPort Association in partnership with the Geneva Creativity Center (GCC), the SITG, the HUG and TPG have have joined together to organize this Open Geneva Hackathon 2016. Come along to form teams with individuals from the most various fields and backgrounds and with different age, gender and agenda, to face the challenge of creating your projects’ prototype in a tight 60 hours workshop and present it. The topics you will be asked to chose from are: Navigation for People with Visual Impairment, Forecasting Emergencies, On-line Hospital Registration, Health Data Collecting and Handling, Preventing Suicide by Tech-Assisted Means, and Sensor Sock for babies with Clubfoot. The public is welcome to attend the final presentations and entrance is free of charge!

The Open Energy Data Hack Days will be held on two different locations and under the label make.opendata.ch with as slogan "We go where the energy is coming from"! This event is for developers, visualiser, thinkers, designers, journalists, and interested Energiespeizalisten. Please bring your own hardware the rest will all be provided to you. Come and help to increase the energy efficiency in future Switzerland!

The goal of "Power (2.5) Hackathon" is to design an Android application to enhance the lives of seniors. Participants will work in teams of 3 persons for 25 hours (= 32 hours) in the premises of La Haute école d'ingénierie et d'architecture de Fribourg.
