The challenge focuses on using data streams coming from the LandSense Citizen Observatory, the Sentinel Hub Service or other relevant EO data sources to design novel Land Use/Land Cover solutions. Four LandSense Challenge finalists will have the opportunity to pitch their ideas at the Second International ECSA Conference 2018 on 3 June 2018 in Geneva, Switzerland. Le propos Face aux défis liés à l’accès à l’emploi pour les personnes relevant du domaine de l’asile, cet Hackathon compte réunir des représentant-e-s des acteurs concernés – personnes issues de l'asile, entreprises privées, institutions publiques, associations et médias notamment, afin de favoriser l’émergence de pratiques innovantes en matière d’intégration professionnelle. Il s’agit de proposer ensemble de nouvelles solutions pour l’intégration des personnes issues de l’asile au sein du marché du travail de notre région. Refugees@work : ensemble pour des solutions est une initiative d’étudiantes de l’Université de Genève, développée en partenariat avec le programme Horizon Académique (UNIGE), le Bureau de l’intégration des étrangers du canton de Genève (BIE) et l’Alliance for Youth. Le hackathon est organisé en collaboration avec le festival d'innovation Open Geneva. Pour plus d'information veuillez-vous diriger vers notre site internet: https://www.unige.ch/horizon-academique/refugeesatwork Défis proposés pour l’événement 1. Accès à la formation - Horizon académique (UNIGE) et l’OFPC Un des freins à l’accès au marché du travail pour les personnes relevant du domaine de l'asile est la non-reconnaissance des qualifications qu’ils obtiennent dans leur pays d’origine. En effet, avec l’expérience professionnelle, une formation reconnue est, en Suisse, une des clés pour intégrer le marché du travail. Pour différentes raisons, l’accès aux formations professionnelles et universitaires est souvent difficile pour les personnes relevant du domaine de l’asile. Avec ce challenge, il est proposé de réfléchir à des solutions innovantes pour faciliter cet accès.   2. Recrutement de jeunes qualifiés - Alliance for Youth (All4Youth) L'intégration des jeunes qualifiés sur le marché du travail  est un défi pour les réfugiés mais également pour les employeurs. Parlent-ils le même langage ? Comment les aider et encourager une intégration réussie? 3. Défi numérique #1 : la maîtrise des outils informatiques - Horizon académique (UNIGE) La maîtrise des outils informatiques de base (bureautique, web,..) est aujourd’hui indispensable à la réussite des études. Dans le cadre du programme Horizon académique, nous constatons que de nombreux participant-e-s ne sont pas à même d’évoluer d’une manière autonome dans la sphère numérique au sens large. Dans ce défi, il est attendu des solutions innovantes pour réduire cette fracture numérique et permettre une mise à niveau des compétences numériques chez les étudiant-e-s qui en auraient le besoin. 4. Défi numérique #2 : réseaux sociaux et programmation - Power.coders 5. La perspective du genre: les femmes issues de l'asile et du genre - Découvrir et Camarada Ce défi permet d’aborder les spécificités rencontrées par la population féminine issue de l'asile, qualifiée et non qualifiée, dans l’accès à l’emploi. 6. L'image et la représentation des personnes du domaine de l'asile dans notre société L’image de ces personnes issues de l'asile étant trop souvent assimilée à des stéréotypes négatifs alimentés par les médias, ce défi permet d’apporter une nouvelle vision de ces représentations et préjugés. 7. Apprentissage du français - Maison des langues (UNIGE) Comment assurer un apprentissage adapté aux besoins de chacun, sachant que la langue constitue un obstacle majeur à l’intégration des personnes relevant de l'asile sur le marché du travail  ? 8. Temps pour une séance de discussion et de questions. 17h30 : Conclusion de l’évènement et apéritif   Après le Hackathon Certains projets pourront être accompagnés et soutenus par les organisateurs afin de permettre leur concrétisation.

La HES-SO Valais-Wallis organise un hackathon sur le thème de l'agriculture, le 18 mai prochain à Sierre. Cet événement interdisciplinaire rassemblera agriculteurs, informaticiens, designers et autres curieux de tout bord souhaitant collaborer à la production de prototypes d’outils et de services innovants destinés au milieu de l'agriculture.
