Agile enthusiasts from large companies, SMEs or startups! If you have the passion to drive change and are interested in scaling agile from a single department to an entire company, then you're invited to participate in the Innovation Hubs Hackathon. You'll be part of a team of 4-6 like-minded professionals and be challenged to come up with ways in which organisations, large and small, can establish, collaborate in, and take advantage of innovation and digital hubs.

The Hackathon goal is to create an application which leverages the Sage Business Cloud Accounting Developer API in aninnovative way, to deliver a new capability for a Sage small business customer – within 24 hours!
Each North East university willhave a team made up of6 members, with the winning team securing an internship at Sage during Summer 2020, along with a tech prize on the day. The event is scheduled for 12th - 13th December 2019. Students should apply for this event by e-mailing grads@sage.com.

DESCRIPTION
Since 2008, the SWAT4(HC)LS Workshop has provided a platform for the presentation and discussion of the benefits and limits of applying Web-based information systems and semantic technologies in the domains of health care and life sciences. Growing steadily each year as Semantic Web applications become more widespread, SWAT4LS has been in Edinburgh 2008, Amsterdam 2009, Berlin 2010, London (2011), Paris (2012), Aveiro (SWAT4LS School organized in 2012), Edinburgh (2013) and Berlin (2014). Since 2015 SWAT4LS changed format and has been organized as a 2 day conference in Cambridge (2015), Amsterdam (2016) , Rome (2017) and Antwerp (2018).
SWAT4(HC)LS aims at providing an open and stimulating environment that brings together researchers, both developers and users, from areas as diverse as eHealth, medical and clinical informatics, bioinformatics, cheminformatics, drug discovery, drug safety, systems biology, medical physics, data science, and biocomputing, to discuss goals, current limits and real experiences in the application of Semantic Web and Linked Data technologies to challenges in health care and life sciences. The meetings are typically very interactive and are accompanied by tutorials and a hackathon.
You can register for the Tutorials (December 9), Conference (December 10 & 11) and Hackathon (December 12), as well as a combined registration.
