COME JOIN IDT FOR OUR FIRST ANNUAL MOBILE DEVELOPMENT HACKATHON!

IDT is at the forefront of the tech renaissance in Newark, and is spearheading efforts to enhance and support Newark’s thriving tech community. We’re aiming to make this the biggest and most comprehensive Hackathon experience New Jersey has ever seen.

COME HACK WITH US!

Our Hackathon will be a 24-hour immersive experience including a mobile app development coding challenge, awesome prizes and swag, old-school video games, pool tournaments, outdoor chill sessions on the terrace, workout classes in the gym, and of course tons of great food and snacks.

THE CHALLENGE

You will have 24 hours to build a payments, messaging, or communications related mobile app from scratch. You may compete in a team of up to five (5) hackers. You can either bring your own team or you can form a team when you get to the Hackathon. At the beginning of the Hackathon there will be a pitch session for people with ideas to make 2-minute pitches to attract Hackathon teammates.

PRIZES

Prizes will be awarded to each of the team members on the winning team. Five team-members per team maximum. 

1st Place: iPad Mini + Champions' Trophies
2nd Place: Quadcopter Drone with HD Camera
3rd Place: Raspberry Pi 3 Complete Starter Kit - 32 GB Edition
