2 Days- Second Edition of iamtheCODE Liverpool Hackathon
Decoding the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals ahead of the 73rd Session of the UN General Assembly (UNGA 73) in New York on September 20th, 2018.

Are you concerned about the World Current affairs? Want to make an impact and learn how to code? Then mark on your calendar the weekend of 8th and 9th of September 2018. Sign up 2018 with a friend, and come to the Unilever Offices at Port Sunlight for the most creative 48 hours you'll spend this year with the amazing and inspirational Marieme Jamme who will facilitate the 2 days event. Where: Unilever Offices in Port Sunlight
What: to take part in a two-day hackathon experience and learn about:
- the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals
- practice Design Thinking
- explore the Kano Computer Kit
- the iamtheCODE iDEA Curriculum and World's Largest Lessons.
- create with technology and code
By the end of the weekend, participants will have had the opportunity to:
- Decode the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals (also known as the Global Goals) and understand key indicators that could drive social change
- Get hands-on with the iamtheCODE Design Thinking framework to build technology solutions related to the SDGs: Empathy, Define, Ideate, Prototype, Test
- Make technology and create with code using Kano Kits
- Use technology to design a solution to raise awareness around or address specific SDGs including Goals: Zero Hunger, Gender Equality, Quality of Education and Climate Change
- Win a prize for your group or your school.
Children must be accompanied by a teacher or an adult if under 16. All food and transportation will be provided upon receipt.
