ABOUT THIS Event
Love creating stuff on your computer and LOVE baseball? Come hack with us on March 19 at General Assembly!
The fifth annual Boston Baseball Hack Day is a fun, friendly one-day hacking competition (also known as hackathon, hackfest or codefest) for baseball fans. It will also be held in three other cities besides Boston: Philadelphia, Montreal, and Chicago.
It is the day where area baseball minds come together and see what cool projects can be created within a limited time on your computer. The project could be (but is not limited to) a tool, app, website, or data visualization. Baseball Hack Day is a free event thanks to our generous sponsors. Registration is required and seating is limited. You can come with project in mind, or you can come as a free agent and look for team to join. Come with your laptop and open mind!

BASEBALL HACK DAY
WHAT IS BASEBALL HACK DAY? 2016 Baseball Hack Day is the fifth annual hacking event (also known as hackathon, hack fest or code fest) where area baseball minds come together, form a team, and collaborate to create baseball-related projects to compete in a friendly one-day competition. It will be held in four cities: Boston, Philadelphia, Montreal, and Chicago. The goal of the day is to bring creative tech minds into one room and see what they can produce within a limited time. The project could be (but is not limited to) a tool, simple web app, mobile app, web site, or data visualization. This event is based on the principal of the original Hack Day Manifesto and will always be free to attend. We are run by volunteers, and we’ll never be for-profit.
