TechConnect: A two-day summit highlighting diversity in tech featuring a Hackathon for Social Justice

The National Urban League will host TechConnect Summit as a part of its Annual Conference taking place in Baltimore Maryland.  This FREE two-day technology summit, being held Friday, August 5th and Saturday, August 6th, will feature networking opportunities, and panel discussions from top executives in technology.  The summit will also feature a Hackathon for Social Justice which will provide a space for innovators to design original applications to alleviate the most pressing social issues of our day, specifically those in tune with this year's Conference theme, Save Our Cities: Education, Jobs, and Justice.

The resulting application/software is to be implemented by the National Urban League for enhancing civic engagement, voting, education pipeline, housing, health, justice and job creation in urban communities.
