    Hackathon for Social Justice Bridging the gap between social issues and technology to solve real world challenges Join entrepreneurs, software developers, designers, students, civic leaders and citizens at the National Urban League Hackathon for Social Justice presented by Comcast in partnership with Yes We Code and Ferguson 1000.  This FREE 2-day event will give you an opportunity to use technology to create a solution to a social issue, specifically in line with this year's Conference theme, Save Our Cities: Education, Jobs, and Justice. WHO Innovators, developers, designers, civic leaders, students and creative thinkers of all skill levels are all invited to be among the first to create solutions to Save Our Cities and compete for $5,000 in cash and prizes!  No coding experience necessary.  Mentors will be on hand to guide you as you build your app and support your team. Contestants can recruit people to join a team.  Each team must include at least one (1) but not more than four (4) contestants.  It is recommended that one (1) contestant on each team be a developer.  If you are an individual who would like to register for the hackathon, you must register as a team in order to participate.  Mentors will be on-site to provide support.  All ages 13+ and skill levels are welcomed!
