Transportation: 

-  When arriving to the main train station, please take Tram 1 going to "Bystrc, Ečerova". On Mendlovo náměstí switch to Bus 84 and go to stop "Velodrom" which is the second stop after Mendlovo náměstí.

 - When arriving to the Bus station "Zvonařka" please take Bus 84 and go to stop "Velodrom".

FAQs:

Q:  Can I bring to the hackathon any commercially available microcontroller? For example esp8266?

A:  You are welcome to bring any hardware and use any platform for the hackathon.  The only restriction is that the code/app must be written at the event during the allotted time.

Q: Hello, I am interested event. I am collecting team. Question is how many members have a single team ?? 

A.  You are free to have a single member on your team or join another team at the event. Before the event begins, we will work the room to make sure everyone has a team.

Q:  Hello, I wanted to edit names of members of our team but any time I edit information on a single
ticket it changes on all tickets. Thus my name and contact is on all 5 tickets.  In T&C you declare that names of all members of the must be included.  

A: No worries, we can make the changes for you at the event.

Q:  Hello, I would like to ask you if it is possible to use any platform for development of an solution for V4 Hackaton 2017. I´m asking mainly because it is an AT&T hosted event and use of competitive IBM Bluemix cloud platform might be unacceptable.

A:  Please feel free to use any platform for your application during our event.  We are offering support for the
AT&T M2X API and the R-cloud platform, but you are not required to use them for the competition.  The key issue is that the app must be written during the timeframe of the contest.

Theme. Internet of Things & Data Analytics – under any of the following categories.

• Smart Cities: Help cities use technology to better serve their citizens. Areas could include first responders, public health, public safety, security, traffic and transportation.

• Healthcare: Allow physicians, medical administrators, or home providers to improve care experiences through automation of common tasks needed to provide medical or rehabilitative care.

• Sustainability: Bring automation to efforts that enable meaningful social and environmental benefits. From connecting students or classrooms to helping preserve natural resources.

• Home: Create home automation solutions elated to security, child or senior safety, or real-time monitoring.

• Open Data: Use open data provided by the Czech Republic’s public administrations to better serve citizens, or interpret and make visualization of the various open data files.

Open to developers and non-developers alike. Come with your own team or form a team when you arrive.
