2022/2023 POWER UP WITH HUAWEI

Ready for round 2? POWER UP WITH HUAWEI is back, and this time the stakes are high! This tech POWERHOUSE is searching far and wide for electrical engineering students ranging from Bachelors to PhDs to take on a Zero Carbon challenge. Many countries around Europe have already released their 'Zero Carbon' plan for the years 2050 and 2060, and now it is your job to help them reach that goal by creating a High Efficiency Isolated Bidirectional DC/DC Converter for a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS). From the start, you can see the complications, making this exciting.  

The competition will be split up into two phases, an ideation phase and a prototyping phase, each equally important. The ideation phase will take place from the 5th of December 2022 to the 9th of January 2023. The Prototyping phase will take place from the 16th of January to the 8th of May, 2023. Bring your creativity and skills to this 4-month project and race towards the 20,000€ prize pool! With your help, a sustainable tomorrow can be around the corner.
