8 Week Explorer Session: Start Up Tech Ventures | Kids ages 9-13

Explorer Session: Tech Entrepreneurship

Are you ready to create the next big start up? Jump into the world of entrepreneurship and learn about the future of technology! From disruptive innovation to elevator pitches, from brainstorming and learning basic software tools, students will work in teams to create a technological venture. Much like a hackathon, the Start-up Tech Ventures for Youth explorer session will also focus on a theme, which will be revealed the first day of the program!

For kids ages 9-13 | Students must bring their own laptops or tablets, and chargers
When: Saturdays | January 21 2017 - March 11 2017 | 10am-12pm

Maker Tech School is an after school program for youth, located in Toronto and York Region.
We provide a learning experience that teaches youth the fundamental skills of digital literacy and design, while encouraging them to become innovators and creators of technology in a collaborative environment. 

Through teaching youth to become makers, not just consumers of technology, they will shape their future and the future of the digital generation. 

Programs are created and developed by students and graduates with a background in New Media and Business from Ryerson University.
