Accessible Tech in Employment Conference & Hackathon

Event Summary

Accessible Tech in Employment Conference and its Hackathon are events for everyone passionate about assistive technologies and employment! We offer FREE access to conference, hackathon, workshops, exhibitions, and food.

Our mission is to bring people and technology together in the creation of disruptive solutions that enhance the quality of employment for disabled people.

The conference allows attendees to listen to inspirational talks, meet like-minded people, and CEOs who regardless of disability achieved success. We will also offer free workshops on Accessibility, Inclusion, and Employment.

The hackathon initiative was created in collaboration with SenseSchool – a social enterprise powered by MakeSense. It was founded in 2012 by Marine Plossu, Caroline Delboy and Christian Vanizette with an aim to enable students and young graduates to learn and problem solve by getting involved in real challenges encountered by social enterprises in many different fields such as employment, health, housing, and many more. A methodology called “Innovation Game” will be used to guide the participants through the innovation process.
