Activator Hackathon – Train the Trainer

The Train the Trainer event will run over 2 x 4-hour sessions. The purpose is to equip staff with an understanding of how to run an effective Hackathon or Innovation Challenge.

It will be an experiential event which provides participants with the chance to work in teams to design their own
Hackathon as well as give and receive feedback from their peers.

There will also be involvement from RMIT University experts including:

    • Dr Reza Mohammed - Manager, Program Development - Research and Innovation

    • Rebecca Taube - Senior Legal Counsel

    • Leonie Russell - Senior Advisor, Learning and Teaching

Participants who attend the program will receive editable templates for slides, emails and legal contracts. Ongoing support (approx. 2 x coaching sessions) will be provided by RMIT Activator staff.

Access to the RMIT Activator Sandbox community will be made available to all participants as a prize which can be offered for the winning teams of any Hackathons hosted.

For the full experience, it is important that you register for both days.

Please note, this workshop is for RMIT staff only. If you are not from RMIT but are interested in what we do here at Activator, drop us a line at hello.activator@rmit.edu.au.
