AI Systems for Society Tutorial & Hackathon

This is a free tutorial and hackathon event being run alongside AISB 2017. The event is equally open to the public and conference delegates. Entry is by ticket only and numbers are limited, so please book early!

Note that this event is not on campus, but in the centre of Bath, ten minutes walk from Bath Spa train station.

There will be several tutorials followed by the opportunity to try out software and write code. The theme of the tutorials will be building Artificially Intelligent (AI) systems to work within society. Full details of the programme are available on the AISB 2017 web site.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

Attendees should be 18 years old or above. If you are 16-17 years old and wish to attend without a parent/guardian please contact the organisers via the event page.

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?

There is no car parking on site. Public transport is recommended. There are several public car parks nearby but these may have time limits and be costly. Please check before you travel.

What can I bring into the event?

If you wish to participate in the hackathon you should bring a laptop computer. A Windows laptop will be required for some of the tutorial streams.
