An introduction to Machine Learning

Topic: A brief introduction to Python, working with data, and machine learning

Hosted by Entelect Software, the first workshop of 2018 will be an introduction to the hot topic of Machine Learning. Presented by Rishal Hurbans, a Solutions Architect at Entelect (and founder of Prolific Idea https://twitter.com/prolificidea ), the session will provide participants with a brief introduction to Python, working with data, machine learning, predictions and estimations, and classifications.

To give attendees even more insight, Rishal will also give his talk on Neural Networks, which he recently presented at Dev Week in San Francisco, USA. As well as the Hackathon he judged – his view? “The software we develop in SA is as good as Silicon Valley”

The session will be run via GitHub so participants should bring their laptop. Access to GitHub will be via their browser.
