Welcome to the first Art & Tech Hackathon Skåne 2016!
On May 11th Lunds konsthall open its doors to host artists, designers, hackers, coders and developers to together create an interactive experience on the theme "Building a City for Humans". We invite you to take a look towards the future of the human city; a city where technology and art meet, a city built for people with feelings and visions.
To participate simply sign up as etiher ARTISTS, HACKERS or DESIGNERS. You will then be assembled in a team and be given 24 hours to put together the experinece you want to show. Within the theme of the Hack we will have three tracks that the teams will be able to choose as challenges: internet, love and mobility. All teams will demo on May 12th as a wrap up for the hackathon and they will be invited to show their work the general public at Lunds konsthall.
As we said, the theme of the hack is ’How do we build the human city of the future? Given the pace at which technology is changing our lives it is quite likely that in the future we will have a much more automated society. People will build their identity around who they are and how they feel rather than around what they do. The Hack will take this as its starting point and it will focus on three tracks that the participating teams will be able to select as the challenge to work with. The three tracks will be: internet, love and mobility. How will we use the internet in the human city of the future? What will its key value be ? What different means of transport will there be in the future? Will one of them be love? How will we find love in an automated world? The Hack participants will choose one of the three challenges and the questions relevant to it, keeping in mind the human aspect of the city.
More info and detailed program will be announced soon.
The event is free of charge but the spots are limited, first come, first served.
