Atlantic Lottery Hackathon 004: Let's Get Social Social lottery ideas wanted! Volta Labs and Atlantic Lottery will host Atlantic Lottery Hackathon.004 from Friday, May 26 to Sunday, May 28, 2017. This will be a 48-hour, free hackathon starting at 6:00pm on Friday, with presentations and judging at 3:00pm on Sunday. The weekend will be full of intense hacking, learning and Redbull-drinking. Not to mention over $4000 in prizes! The Prizes: First prize: $2,000 (!!!)Second prize: $1,250Third prize: $750 The Theme: Let’s Get Social In this hackathon, your challenge is to create fun, fresh ideas for: Lottery games you can play together with other people. Maybe playing together means online, or maybe it’s in-person. Or both? Can you make chat an integral part of the game? How about spectators? Lottery games that have social sharing opportunities. Push the boundaries and think beyond mass Facebook invitations. How can social sharing add value, interest, entertainment or engagement to the players, the game and the people in their social networks? Judging Projects will be judged on presentation, creativity and, of course, the tech made during the event! Teams/Participants You can go solo, or work with a team (Maximum of 3 people).Note: This event is 19+. Schedule Friday, May 26: Doors open at 5:00pm to eat pizza, have some refreshments and meet and mingle with your fellow hackers. The hackathon will kick off at 6:00pm.Saturday, May 27: The hacking continues! We’ll have trivia and mini-prizes during the day (and maybe a foosball tournament!)Sunday, May 28: Presentations and judging will be from 3:00pm-5:00pm followed by award presentation!
