ATX Hack for Change 2017

ATX Hack for Change is Austin’s response to the National Day of Civic Hacking, a White House initiative started in 2013 to inspire citizens to come together and improve their communities. Since 2013, ATX Hack For Change has brought together people to tackle the unique issues facing our weird city.

Hosted by St. Edward’s University partnered with Google Fiber, Open Austin and the City of Austin, this year our one-of-a-kind ATX civic hackathon aims to provide the community with resourceful projects that will have a lasting, positive impact.

Attendees are welcome from every corner of Austin, any industry, any sector, every neighborhood, all experience levels and ages; this is for anyone who cares about sharing their skills with Austin and their community. SIgn up for this event if you'd like to register as a hacker! If you think your time would be better spent leading a team on a project- consider submitting a project to ATX Hack for Change 2017.
