As part of AI Accelerator, we will be running a free cognitive services taster session, led by Distinguished Engineers and senior technologists from Fujitsu and Microsoft.
The session is ideal for delegates with software programming skills, but beginners would benefit too.
Bring your own laptop to connect to Microsoft Azure during the session.
Agenda:
1. Introduction
2. Overview of Cognitive Services
3. Workshop (working in groups)
a. Introduction to APIs for applications such as face recognition, emotion & sentiment detection, text processing and translation, using Python
b. Two examples to work through
c. Bonus recognition exercise
d. Understanding the business context and applications of these APIs
4. Wrap up - where to go next
5. Finish
Refreshments will be provided during the workshop.
For this event you will require the following equipment (Optional):
Bring your own laptop to connect to Microsoft Azure during the session and your own vga cables
Will catering be provided? Refreshments will be provided on arrival/ during the break/ during networking
