Big Data meets Travel Hackathon & Conference - B.U.I.L.D Challenge Weekend

Do you love travelling? Exploring new countries, cultures, savour new food, sights, languages and creating long lasting memories? Are you a software developer, data scientist or someone who understands business?

Travel meets Big Data Hackathon & Conference

The Travel meets Big Data hackathon is a weekend where people come together to solve problems in the travel industry by using Big Data. Here coders, data scientists, business developers, marketers and travel lovers work together to build a commercially viable product or service tackling a challenge in the travel sector and compete for prizes like cash, pitching opportunities infront of investors and trips.

Normally at the end of an event like this you don’t have more than just a power point and wireframe to show, but at the end of the Big Data meets Travel hackathon, you build an actual prototype of a new service or product. This is possible because you get access to use existing sets of data based on real online user interactions on travel sites.

You are also very welcome to take part of the ambiance, numerous workshops and talks by industry experts as a support by visiting only the conference part.
