From Mechanical CAD to intelligent BIM objects

BIMobject® runs BIMscript® Hackathon events and webinars where you can get accredited to use BIMscript. Participants will be taught by our core developers how to master BIMscript & LENA for Rhino. This is a  unique opportunity to learn from the masters. Currently we offer webinars, however, our popular Hackathon events will return in 2016.

BIMscript & LENA opens up a vast new world of opportunities for content developers and internal mechanical CAD departments to develop their own content for most BIM platforms using a single script. The business model is also favourable for smaller developers who can develop multi-usable content with rich properties in many languages, having only one license for Rhino and LENA. With BIMscript & LENA for Rhino, you will be able to build BIM objects for ArchiCAD, Revit, Sketchup as well as IFC, DWG and 3DS. More formats will be added later. BIMscript & LENA is a free software, while publishing BIM objects is payable for brand manufacturers according to our price list.

Already after an hour you will be able to see your first intelligent BIM objects come to life out of mechanical CAD data.

How to apply

We want you to include in your application a motivation why you should be chosen for the free accreditation and free development tools. Also, specify what day you can attend. You will be required to attend the whole workshop and present your work in order to get accredited.

If you are selected the only thing you need to invest is your time. Be sure to have a computer with Windows installed. If you are chosen to attend you will receive an email with instructions, a full list of recommended software programs and help with installation.

If several employees from the same company want to join, we still require individual applications.

Participation is free of charge!

Deadline for submission is 7 days prior to each event and selected candidates will get notified 5 days in advance.

Each workshop starts at 09.00 and ends approx. 17.00 CET.
