#BISONHACKS Howard University School of Business Hackathon presents...... [Bison Hacks] BOOTCAMP SERIES: Business Pitching As a way to prepare for the event, we will be providing several installments that will help cultivate the skills needed to have an amazing experience at our hackathon on March 30-31, 2018 at Mapbox. Our first workshop will be dedicated to learning how to present to a group of future investors on your business model or startup idea.  Our speaker will be Phim Her. Phim Her is a marketing solutions manager at the Washington Post, where she leverages her strategic marketing and creative storytelling expertise to support democracy and the free press. Phim is an alum of POLITICO, as well as Syracuse University, where she studied creative advertising from the Newhouse School and political science and policy from the Maxwell School. She specializes in brand development, new business pitching and proposal writing and design (from facilitating design thinking workshops and training non-designers to prototyping and UX and UI). When she is not storyboarding and designing, you can find her leading creative workshops, mentoring and connecting creatives in the DC scene, and working on diversity and female empowerment initiatives. She is an active member of AIGA, where she serves on the National Diversity & Inclusion Task Force and the National EMERGE Task Force.  TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS EVENT YOU MUST BE A HOWARD UNIVERSITY UNDERGRADUATE OR GRADUATE STUDENT.
