Bringing together the brightest minds in the e-commerce space, the annual Black Friday Hackathon fosters the exchange between innovative companies and talented teams to burst inspiration in the community and create outstanding and sustainable hacks. In under 24 hours, the teams of up to 5 people create amazing e-commerce hacks using APIs from the participating companies with support of their developer experts. At the end of the all day event, an international renowned jury votes for the best, most inspiring and innovative apps and awards the development teams with awesome prizes.
RULES
1. Start your project from scratch at the first day of the event (But feel free to come with a ready-made idea and get familiar with the APIs in advance).
2. Work on an idea related to the challenge "Future of Commerce".
3. Include at least one API in your hack.
4. Team size 1 - 5 people.
5. Powerpoint-free zone: It’s your demo that’s relevant - If it’s not fully functional (yet), walk us through the code.
Judging criteria
1. How well does it represent the challenge "Future of Commerce".
2. How innovative or unique your idea is
3. Scaleability across brands, retailers and/or countries
4. How big a commercial opportunity your idea represents
5. How Viable would your product be in the market
