BlocHacks 2018

The second edition of BlocHacks is coming! BlocHacks is the is the first hackathon of its kind in the city of Montreal that is focused on finding innovative solutions to global issues. We are strong believers that technology can help fix and improve the majority of disasters and social problems the world is currently facing today. We see an ever increasing gap between the Non-Profit (as well as Non-Governmental) world and current technology. Supported by the Social Innovation Catalyst known as DevBloc, we believe we can help motivate and inspire the Montreal community to build, create, structure, design, and innovate solutions to the world's more pressing issues.

You may register a team of 3 to 6 people, or register as an individual and we will team you up with others.

La deuxième édition de BlocHacks s'en vient! BlocHacks est le premier hackathon de son genre à Montréal qui est axé principalement sur la recherche de solutions aux problèmes mondiaux. Nous croyons fermement que la technologie peut aider à régler et à soulager la majorité des désastres et des problèmes sociales auxquels le monde fait face aujourd'hui. Nous observons un écart grandissant entre les secteurs non-lucratif et non-gouvernemental et la technologie actuelle. Soutenu par l'incubateur entrepreneurial DevBloc, nous croyons que nous pouvons aider à motiver et à inspirer la communauté montréalaise à bâtir, à structurer, à concevoir et à innover des solutions aux problèmes mondiaux les plus urgents.
