Blockchain for Peace Hackathon - Law & Democracy

DESCRIPTION

Build a better future together using blockchain to promote global peace.

Hosted by Peace Accelerators and Stanford's Peace Innovation Lab, Blockchain for Peace - Law & Governance hackathon will bring top Peace advocates, creative technologists, and blockchain experts into a room to devote their weekend to making the world a better place for everyone. 

Participants can:

  • code their own app from scratch
  • Contribute code, docs, or designs to one of our featured open-source projects
  • Design a new law and governance model using blockchain and write a whitepaper 


SCHEDULE

07/27

6pm - 10pm Social mixer, team forming, and sponsor introductions.

07/28

8am - 10pm hacking all day, advisor/judge feedback,

07/29

8am - 12pm hacking

12pm - 2pm presentations, superlatives, winner announced

2pm - 6pm  Socializing


WHAT YOU NEED:

  • Do your research, don't make something that already exists.

  • A brief description of the project you want to get done at the Hackathon.

  • A dope team that's going to blow everyone away.


TEAMS:

You can have a team of up to 10 people. We suggest a ratio of 50% devs 50% designers.
