Food production and supply faces many challenges in the modern world. How do we optimize food production? What new products will replace the most common foods? How will Blockchain change the food supply? Join us for a panel discussion about the Future of Food at Node membership club and community. We will discuss emerging trends in food production, personalization of food, minimization of the environmental impact and the different ways our speakers see the future of food and blockchain. SPEAKERS: Arturo Elizondo - CEO of Clara Foods, a sustainable ingredients company making the world’s most comprehensive animal-free egg white substitute. Prior to joining Clara Foods, Arturo worked at the investment bank Credit Suisse and U.S. Department of Agriculture. Jun Axup - Scientific Director and Partner at IndieBio, the world's leading biotech accelerator. IndieBio has funded 18 companies in cellular agriculture, plant-based foods, and clean agriculture. Aylon Steinhart - business innovation specialist at the Good Food Institute (GFI). Aylon has co-founded two startups, and has worked with companies such as Kellogg's, Applebee's, and Nestle. At the Good Food Institute, Aylon helps entrepreneurs launch the next generation of good food startups. Sunny Jain - CEO of Sun Genomics, a microbiome health company creating precision probiotics based on a person's unique microbiome profile using whole genome sequencing. Louis Mikal - (Moderator and Organizer) COO of Serendipia - a co-op of social entrepreneurship with an upcoming TGE. Louis is a futurist aiming to bridge blockchain, food, life sciences, and sustainability. Opening keynote speaker: Seth Goldstein.
