OI Hackathon Final
Two finalists from the Opera Incubator hackathon will pitch their idea to the conference. Conference participants vote for the winner using a poll on their phones. The winner is invited to join OI and receive High Potential Crypto Startup (HPCS) status.
Hackathon Day One
Thursday April 20th, 4pm - 8pm
32 Opera Lane, Cork City
Ideas for startups are welcome by any participant. Presentations should be 5 minutes maximum in length. Participants find their preferred startup idea and joins that team. This session will allow an initial brainstorming for groups.
We kick off with a barbeque and cheers for the launch of OI. Presentations begin from 6.30pm to cater for people coming from work, so we don't mind about late-comers!
Please email a brief description of your blockchain pitch and we will allocate you a time to pitch it to the group.
Hackathon Day Two
Friday April 21st, 2pm - 8pm

We take a closer look at applied blockchain applications in fintech, healthtech, insuretech, governance, real estate, and more.
Groups from day one join and work on developing their blockchain idea. At 7pm each group presents their business to the incubator. Two teams will be chosen to advance to the final on Day 3.
